The Reign of God
Who Is Really in Charge?
Psalm 2 confronts us with an undeniable truth: despite all the world's turmoil and plotting, God sits in the heavens and laughs (v. 4). The rebellion of nations is futile because He has already installed His King, Jesus, on Zion.
The message for us is clear and urgent: "Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him" (v. 12).
When we look at the news and feel anxious, we must remember that God’s plan has not been thwarted. He is sovereign over politics, economics, and the troubles of our day. Our peace and security are not found in human stability, but in unwavering trust in the King who has already won. Are you trusting in God's power or human control? Trust the King! π #Psalm2 #GodsSovereignty #KingOfKings #Trust
